I smell a rat!
OK, my first Nokia 6680, for most downloads of video, the download failed with the error message 'Web: Connection time-out'.
When this happened, after speaking to Voda directly and failing to get the problem sorted, I took it to a Vodafone shop. The download also failed on a v800 but not a z500. Anway, they replaced the phone.
Second 6680, exactly the same problem which of course pointed to either a general 6680 problem or a vodafone live! incompatibility with the 6680.
Anyway, the only good thing to come out of this is that Voda then swapped the phone for a new Nokia N70 which is a corking phone. But guess what! Video downloads fail with the message 'Downloading failed'.
So, I think vodafone have some serious incompatibilities with these phones but aren't being honest about it.
I should add that streaming ALWAYS works, just not downloading.
Anyone else got this issue? If not then I suppose it could be my sim?
