Please forgive me if this is a really basic question as I've yet to get my hands on my N70....

Can voice calls be made via the 3G network on T-mobile or do they automatically get diverted via the 2G connection? Can you just select 3G only on the N70?

3G is just like 2G exept it runs faster. Lets take an example, the internet where 2G is dial up and 3G is broadband. All these years you have been using dial up to surf the web, retrieve emails ect. When you upgrade to Broadband, you can do everything what you can on dialup, but more.

Understand? It all seems very daunting at first, but you will understand as you use it. If you are in a 3G area for coverage, you can do everything with your phone, without switching to 2G.

Yeah your phone will use the 3G network for voice calls, during a 3G voice call you can also connect to the internet and browse or send an MMS. I often put my girlfriend on speaker phone and browse the web while she's nagging on. During a 2G voice call your data connection is put on hold until you are finished.

So basically another reason 3G is better than 2G.
