Hi Kulya, welcome to the forum. :D

You will pay £0.00 for either phone or 3g sim.
In the first case you can either have half price line rental OR a free DvD player, in the second case 750mins voice+150 texts and 1/2 price line rental(how long?)- Phone and Sim are free! as long as you keep the phone for the specified length of the contract ie:12 or 18 months.

Yes - if you are living in the UK and are able to pass the credit check. I had to pay a 150 pounds deposit because I had lived out of the UK for a while and I didnt have a credit history.

You should also check if this is a 'cashback offer'. E.g a £4.99 tariff on talk and text 500 (500 voice plus 100 text) you get various deals. Some charge half price line rental for the first 3 months (you will notice this on your first 3 bills) and then 2 cashback cheques at the 6 month and 12 month aniversary.
You also need at the 6 monthly and 12 monthly points send to the retailer you dealt with your 6 month and 12 month bill respectively.
This ensures you do not sell on the phone before this.
Two points of caution. Firstly, deal with a large retailer , otherwise if they go bust you loose the cashback deal as your contract for this is with them and NOT 3. Secondly do not change your tariff as this also invalidates most of these deals.
Finally for my example you will be paying £30 a month for months 4-12 and get the cashback of around £150 for the 6th month and again at the 12 month. This then gives the figure of £4.99 a month.
3's second in command has recently warned retailers regarding these cashback deals as it is them and not 3 who are taking the risk.
