Go THERE (http://uccellodifuoco.altervista.org/download/files/Data_Sheet_V1050/MotorolaV1050DeveloperSheet.pdf) to see the real features of v1050 from motorola...
IT HAS BLUETOOTH AND AGPS but Vodafone has disabled it!!
Now try to enable it!!
What do you think about?
Thanks!

tbh the reason vodafone disabled it is because they dont support it, and if they dont support it its useless because agps needs network support to work

I've got the v1050, and bluetooth doesn't working!!!
A Men from motorola's customer service:
He said that for this motorola v1050, isn't bluetooth available! This wasn't to see it coming for this Mobile.
P.S.: Sorry my English is terrible!

I've noticed that Vodafone disables bluetooth in several mobile phones (for example, my mates Motorola V525 could recieve bluetooth content but couldnt send it, untill he restored factory settings and now bluetooth works perfectly.)
But has anyone managed to get the Bluetooth feature of the Motorola V1050 to work? Will restoring the factory settings effect 3G capabilities?

There is a bluetooth adapter available that attaches to handset. see motorla bluetooth adapter (http://direct.motorola.com/eng/Web_accessories_detail.asp?Country=GBR&language=ENG&productid=29525&strPrimaryOption=Acc&lSecondaryOption=11)

The V1050 doesn't have Bluetooth, there's not even a selection for it.

Hello, before anything I notice that I am Spanish and that I am using a translator. In Spain also vodafone has vacated bluetooth, and in this page Web: www.v1050.net is spoken of which in England if that have bluetooth. Also they say that to obtain bluetooth, single is necessary to obtain firmware original of motorola, without it has nothing to do vodafone.
If you want to comment some thing to me to write to me (in the language that you want) to adrian.qb@gmail.com

Does anyone got an original firmware?
I MANAGED TO ACTIVATE SMTH VERY INTERESTING IN MY MENU. At connectivity, I HAVE BLUETTOTH, but i'm unable to activate it. Of corse, this is because of VODAFONE.....
So, it has bluetooth!

If you go to motocoder.net and look at the original specs it has Bluetooth. I think VF just disabled it to use the handset at a lower price point.

Hi there.
So is there anyone that can tell me how to activate the bluetooth.
I've active only the menu using p2kmenu editor.
But when i try to activate it it doesn't work.
I read a lot about v1050 having a bleutooth but the only links avaible to show how to activate it were in spanish or in italian.
So can anybody tell me in ENGLISH how i can make the bluetooth work
Thanks

dark07, what would that be exactly? So far 1. I have Bluetooth, 2. I am taking full quality 640x480 MPEG4 video and taking 2MP stills that print beautifully. I have the capability for a 2GB card thanks to no more Transflash. I had Motos all the way from E365, V535, V635 and V1050 and I have to admit - the Nokia 6280 is the BEST phone I have EVER owned. Sorry.
