o2 modem setup

7600 modem setup on XP using o2 pay and go...

i have managed to install modem and enter setting.
but when i try dialling out it connects
packets show sending and receiving but saying page cannot be displayed..

nothing is loading..

can someone help who has setup internet using mobile as modem before?

Hi,

Have you entered the O2 Proxy Server details: 193.113.200.195 port 8080. If it still doesn't work then change the port to 9201. I don't know that phone well so am not sure where you enter it but it's probably in the WAP service settings somewhere. Either that or the GPRS AP settings.

yeah already got the settings.
connects to gprs but nothing loads ...

Let's double check your settings then:

APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username: payandgo
Password: password
Proxy Server Address: 193.113.200.195
Proxy Server Port: 8080 / 9201
Homepage: http://wap.o2.co.uk

That's all you should need to get going.
Can you view pages on the phone?

Just one other point I've just thought of - you also have to set the Proxy settings in Windows Internet settings too. HTTP and HTTPS: 193.113.200.195 port 8080.
