Does anyone have any idea when 3 will have the car a-b available. Does anyone know of any car navigation I can use on my A1000 on the 3 network?
Regards

nhgps is rubbish its not really a Navigation tool at all. For those who have the nokia 6630 or 6680 then tomtom or route 66 is the way to go and you can get them cheap on ebay now like this one for example Tomtom & Route 66 Satnav (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5771942292&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1) I've had it for a while and am awaiting my upgrade for the Tomtom 5 but this one is still excellent.

I have tomtom on my HP ipaq and I usally use this in my car, and jayd is right nhgps can't compare to tomtom and route 66 these are far better, but won't work on an a1000. nhgps is about as good as it gets at the mo for the a1000, there is another one called Mapview GPS, I perfer nhgps. link to mapview page below.

Hi all,
Still looking for info on A1000 that can be used on 3 network. I understand that it is possible to put Wayfinder on A1000 but 3 network say they do not support this. I do non know why as it uses data - can anyone help me?
Does anyone know when a-b car navigator will be available on 3?
Regards

Apparently Route 66 UIQ is imminent and there were also rumours about tomtom, wayfinder requires internet access ,so that a no no on 3 at the mo. It's all a bit bleak on the A1000 front at the moment and sat nav was one of the main reasons i sold mine to get the 6630.

Hi, thanks for info. Nokia 6630 what car navigation does this use and is it supprted by £?
Thank you
DOnald
Tomtom mobile and Route66 Mobile both work on the 6630. They do not require a GPRS connection unless you want live traffic updates, but this is not necessary. So they both work fine with the 3 network.
