As of today Vodafone customers can watch live Eurosport on their Vodafone live! UMTS handset. Vodafone is the first and currently only operator in the Netherlands to offer its customers live access to the Eurosport television channel on a mobile phone.
By simply clicking on the 'Live TV & Video' category of Vodafone live! on their UMTS handset, Vodafone customers get access to the Eurosport TV channel, enabling them to view their favorite sport anytime and anywhere. Television broadcasts can be simultaneously viewed live on a Vodafone live! UMTS phone, including the Dutch commentary.
Over 20 TV channels
Previous to the launch of live Eurosport, Vodafone customers were already able to watch over 20 TV channels like CNN, Playboy Channel, 2GOTV and MTV. Vodafone live! UMTS not only enables customers to enjoy services like television on their mobile, video telephony and video clips but through UMTS they can also use the broad range of services like voice, SMS, MMS, E-mail, Ringtones, Games and live! sites. The new content offering underlines Vodafone's number one position in UMTS with the widest range of handsets, best coverage, most extensive content against the most attractive tariffs: Vodafone customers only pay 25 Eurocents for watching 10 minutes TV on their mobile.
