Hutchison 3G Suing KPN

Hutchison Whampoa hONG kONG is suing its UK 3g mobile partner KPN for compensation. iT SAYS the Dutch carrier refused to provide a 150 million pound (US$248 million) loan to 3 UK.

The company says it has instituted legal proceeding in London against KPN for breach of contract and to claim damages for that breach - as reported in Hong Kong.

I find this a real twist of fate

Surely, 150 Million pounds is about the cost of subsidising these new handset prices ( lower and free ) and the substantially reduced voice calls from 3 UK.

So you could argue that KPN will be funding the free free free
3 FREE handsets and calls

Dont forget the suckers who already bought a phone from you at £200. Use some of this £150 million to do the right thing
