Hello all,

I'd like to move up from 9.6kbps GSM to <384kbps speeds while on the move
with my laptop.
I'm currently on contract with Vodafone for my mobile using my trusty Nokia
6310.

Whilst I'm aware that Vodafone offer a 'mobile connect 3g' card but I do not
want to have a separate SIM card & contract for my mobile data needs.

I have three questions for which I'd be very grateful of your help.

Firstly, does anybody know if Vodafone will let me pay something like the
~£20/month for 75mb data on my existing (VF400 Business) contract, so in
effect I keep my calling tarrif but also have 75mb pre-paid data transfer
per month. If so I'd expect it to be a bit cheaper than the £20/month that
is charged for the 3G alone.

Is it even possible to work this way (using a Bluetooth Dongle on my
laptop) - e.g. 3G data via Bluetooth to the mobile.

and lastly, which mobile would be recommended for this, since I realise my
6310 does not support 3G but I'd like something else similarly sturdy with a
long battery life and preferably the Nokia (Symbian?) operating system.

thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
