Golddigga or anyone for that matter: When O2 upgrade to 3G will "old" 2/2.5G handset speed increase slightly whilst browsing O2 active? Or will there be a completely different O2 Active browser for 3G handsets only?!

Im just confused as to wether O2 will keep 3G and 2G customers seperate in terms of content etc or wether we will all use the same browser just that some handsets can access areas others cant.....confusing i know i am! LOL!

i have a lg8120 on o2 prepay, i've just found out from o2 customer care that the 3g service will require a new 3g usim, and that i can only get this with a new 3g o2 phone...

can anyother o2 staff shed some light on this, as to what o2 will do for existing 2g users, or whatever, or how someone can just get a new o2 usim for 3g?

i got the phone and wanted it unlocked to stay on o2 - i thought i mite have to wait a bit to be able to use the 3g services on o2, but it sounded like i'd need a whole new "proper" o2 3g phone.

To add to this topic,
I have a 7600 that was on 3pay but then i decided to unlock it so i can use a regular o2 sim. If the phone was built for 3g does that mean 3g o2 sim will work fine? providing that i can get hold of 1.

Does anyone know if O2 plan to offer any highlight packages for the upcoming world cup as part of the 3g services. I know Voda and 3 hsve rights but I was hoping that O2 would offer some sort of video download service?
