I am in central London today and service is usually good but I keep getting the message - "No access to network".
Anyone else having a problem today?

Not had that error but I have often recieved a connection error when trying to call out.

i have had this problem in edinburgh a handful of times now.
reboot the phone and it usually resolves itself

It was a Voda GPRS service disruption I think.

I've had problems with the 3G and GPRS, going down a little bit I think.

“Hi Neil, there are currently sites down in CATERHAM ON THE HILL-TANDRIDGE and Guildford, Surrey. Which maybe the probable cause of your 3G and GPRS issues.
Have a look in your user guide to do a manual roam to see if you can latch onto another site”
