No im not a Customer... yet... hahaha..
Well let me tell you this i ordered 11 sims  in total 1 on my Debit Card, and 10 on my sisters Card, but if 10 will arrive thats another matter, cos if you ordered more than 1 sim a Postage fee of £2.95 was added.. But i was told it's ment to be 1 per household.. :o
i didnt know how to order more than 1 sim at first, and when i did find out, you could only use 1 Credit /Debit card per transaction & 1 Address, so the batch of 10 i ordered was on my sisters card with her address, so she got billed the £2.95 postage Costs...lol but im going to pay her back... :D Honest... lol :p

There's been a load of free sim cards on offer recently...
First Orange were giving them away - they all went within hours.
Then T-Mobile had 10,000 up for grabs - these all had £10 credit on them!
They're all gone too now - here's the T-Mobile website link. (http://www.t-mobile-campaign.co.uk/xmasceltic/)
And finally Vodafone, not be left out, are giving away free sim cards too.
Take a look at the Vodafone homepage (http://www.vodafone.co.uk)and look for the 'Free Pay as you Talk SIM pack'.
Be warned though - Vodafone insist on you giving them valid credit card details before they'll accept the order for the free sim card.
warwound.
(Still waiting for a couple of O2 sim cards from the last O2 giveaway)

WARNING
JUST HAD A PHONE CALL FROM BARCLAYCARD AND WAS ASKED ABOUT A TRANSACTION TO DATA CASH (VPHONE)
It was a transaction amount of 72.95.
This amount equals 10 x voda sims plus 2.95 shipping
I have been informed that that you are ok if you have paid with Credit card.
It looks like Vodafone are charging for the sims even though I have a email from then stating Free of charge.
I would check your cards.

I really would not have linked Vodafone & fraud in the same sentence, but look @ their website now.
They advertise on the front page "Free Pay As You Talk Sim", click on it then it says £6.99
I think it's more of a problem we need to chase up with Voda, it could be the webmaster @ fault.
Also, bad news, is that when i loaded the payment page when i ordered, a popup asked me if i want to load although there are 'insecure items' on the page. Bugger!!!
Voda we hate u! and ur "freebies" and ur stinkin payment frauds and ur freakin 3g service! screw ya until u get it right!

I have spoken to Voda today and they have charged anyone who orded more than 1 sim pack.
I said to them that the check out total was showing £2.96 (shipping charge)
She said "so what" and then said I also have an email confirming the payment charge of £2.95 only and she went very quite.
I would contact your banks and see what they say. Voda may be trying to pull a fast one

I think some discretion needs to be used here, the advertisement does say "Free pay as you talk Sim Pack" - there is no plural used. Further, you have totally ripped the arse out of the offer by ordering 10 of them!

Spoke to CS this morning and was advised that any sim can be enabled for 3G. All you need to do is call up and have it enabled. This also included pay and go sims

So if i order the sim card now and i enable 3g on it, it should work perfectly on my npkia 7600. Tried O2 and t-mobile shame their both out of free sim cards.

hmm, ordered mine before reading the rest of this thread, only ordered one though so If they charge me they can have a copy of their email back, not bloody taking my cash - false advertising!
Still available at 7-15 pm and just ordered one email confirmation shows no charge, Vodafone clearly state one per house hold.

my work mobile voda sim works in my v800 - no CS call and its been in use for a number of years now so... we have a set aside allowance of 3g MCCs with a fixed number range and no voice ability on the sims - i guess its just VF CS who tick boxes on and off!
