Orange 3G and payg SIMs

Do we have to do anything to our payg sim cards to enable 3G services?
I've just checked the map and my teensy village has a 3G signal, doesnt say how strong though :confused:

I'll do a scan on my a925 with an orange sim in.

You'll need a USIM to access Orange 3G (unlike Vodafone where at least voice will work with a 2G SIM in a 3G handset). Only way to get one of those is to get an Orange pay monthly 3G subscription... :-)
