Lats nught I tried to go on to the 3 browser and it was not working again. This is the 3rd time I have had this problem.

Another problem with 3 is that my friend sent me an MMS from her phone on Saturday (she is on Orange), well I aint got it.

I have been happy with 3 and the service they provide BUT, the browser problem is a running sore and needs to get SORTED OUT NOW.

As to the MMS problem. When I was with T Mobile if I had any problems recieving MMS (I used to have loads of problems with their MMS service), I would get a message telling me it was on their T Mobile web site so I could view them there.

With 3 we don't have this opertunity.

COME ON 3, GET A GRIP AND SORT YOURSELF OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you'll find that nost others networks home page are quite often down as well...

Been away from 3 for a while after the problems i had in the early days but just got a cheap 3pay handset to try the network out again and i can honestly say 3 is improving.

As for the MMS do 3 have a deal with Orange now ??...last i heard it was just with Vodafone and O2

I'm on contract and have been happy with the service/network. Over the last few weeks 3 have had problems with the browser but, I though they had sorted it out.

I have always had niggles with MMS when I was on other networks but I could view the pictures I was sent on their web sites.

Just sent myself a MMS and I got a reply almost right away. Judging by that I would say that it is the other networks who are having problems with 3 network.

MMS is xnet to all networks now.

I don't see why the other networks would be the cause of the problem, they've been doing MMS a lot longer than Three... Perhaps Three have a problem processing incoming/outgoing content - I guess a lot more people are sending/receiving to/from other networks than Three as the other nets have loads more subscribers.

I have sent 2 pictures using MMS to other networks - one arrived after 2 hours and the other (sent a week ago) dissapeared into the big MMS network cloud in the sky. I doubt if I'll be gambling many more 25p's on that lucky bag service.

I've got an MMS but I can't retrieve it cause the connection failed?

Is this a general fault or could it be my settings?

It'll be the network - its pretty unreliable for MMS. SMS can also be a struggle sometimes and you should be aware that voice calls also drop frequently. Hey it's cheap though, you can't expect it to perform like others costing more.

So when shall I expect to be able to retrieve it? I can see it waiting to be opened and it is annoying me! :(

My browser hasn't worked from yesterday!

I'd hate to live in scotland, 3G service sounds dreadful up there according to 3GSU.

Fortunately there are 4 other mobile phone services that use GSM that serve the Scottish nation quite favourably. One can easily live without 3's network here as it provides nothing that the GSM providers dont already have available.

The space, countryside, culture and the friendly people are benefits that all the technology in the world cant make up for!

The benefit of Northampton is the choice of 3 3g networks already active:

Orange 3g
Voda 3g
3 3g

Northampton is well covered.

Its better where I am - we have T-Mobile as well as those!

In Manchester they have all 5 active 3G networks.... 02 will be in my area next month.. so you are well and truly deprived in Northampton!

Going back to the topic in hand re: MMS - every one I have sent from my three phone has been delivered and almost always has happened instantly (unless the other person has had their phone off etc) Almost all have been sent to other networks as not many people I know are on '3'. Havn't had any problems receiving them either!

Would anybody be kind enough to post their browser settings for the LGU8120 so I can see if mine are set correctly?
