The breaking news tonight is that 3gsusr is finally to quit the much hated Three 3g network, tonight in an exclusive interview he said...................................
QUOTE
I will get a new 3G handset in december but it wont be on 3... it will be someting new on a contract though and with another 2 3G networks to choose from by then I have plently of time to decide. The feedback from early adopters here will go some of the way to assiting in making an informed choice.

Yer what?
I don't believe you. I've not seen this on 3 services breaking news video streaming!
I'm surprised he didn't give the exclusive interview to Voda 3G ;)
We've had differences and good debates but I don't take it personal. I quite like his skill. Nothing like a bit of haggis throwing...
I'm shocked (head in hands crying).

BOOHOO
Apparently - leaving party to be at either Orange or Vodafone HQ. Both companies are fighting over the rights to hosting 3GSU's leaving party, as they like him very much indeed. There has been speculation that the event will be broadcast by either Voda or Orange 3G videocalling (subject to coverage map being accurate). In the VERY unlikely event of no 3G coverage from these 2G superpowers, there will OBVIOUSLY be a smooth and hassle-free handover from 3G to 2G, because Voda and Orange aren't rubbish like 3.
Aside from the guest of honour - 3GSU, the event will be attended by the entire marketing departments of Vodafone and Orange, plus various newspaper reporters from around the globe, who will want to pay their respects to the man who brought their articles to the ignorant masses.
A giant cake in the shape of an NEC e606 will be given to 3GSU during the event.
:D
None of the above is true of course seeing as how I just took out a new 3 contract in Oct 2004!
The silly person that posted the above was advised in the same thread "You've a long wait....... It wont be until late 2005 at the earliest! Assuming they are still around in the same form by then!" - pity they cant read/understand simple stuff! (I have more than one contract now so why should anyone jump to the conclusion that I will not replace my other contract when IT expires next month - after all i would not rely on 3 UK's network exclusively).
Its noteworthy that certain others jump to contribute when blatently silly threads/posts like the above appear sadly tarnishing their own credibility! Oh well I shall leave this silly thread alone now - it's utter tripe and should be purged as it is clear mis-representation based on flawed assumptions!
(To view the original conversation in context go to: http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=10685&page=2 - and see just how silly some folks can be!)

I am sorry. I am very confused.
One of your contracts comes to 12 months next month?
You want to go on to 3G (Vodafone or Orange) - next month?
Surely when you move across to another 3G network, you won't need 3, probably just playing with the "old" 7600 at the magic £5 a month, occasional, because obviously you can't "rely" on it, cos the 3 network is rubbish.
So logically, we won't see you on the 3 forums, because you'll be too busy telling everyone on the Voda / Orange forum how GOOD their BRAND NEW 3G network is!
I'll miss you.
no chance I'll be using the 7600 (to X/Net mobiles mostly - get the most out of it!) and will be staying here until at least the end of October 2005 with my opinions as a paying 3 subscriber!
Get used to it!

Get used to it? I am. Used to getting 2000 mins a month plus loads of other stuff for the bargain price of £100 a month.
What I can't understand is you WANTING to stick around. After all, you have spent months on here trying to STOP people from joining three, yet, here YOU
are saying you want to make use of the cheap calls...
But hang on. WHAT cheap calls? I thought you said the network doesn't work. YOu have said countless times, better to go with a network that works and pay MORE (much more, usually), than one that doesn't work.
Unless, of course, the network is working for you...
Hmmm... interesting....
"Get used to it? I am. Used to getting 2000 mins a month plus loads of other stuff for the bargain price of £100 a month."
MUG - Get 4 £5/month contacts from CPW and save yourself £80 every month or £960/year!
Mind you I dare say as you keep all that cashback incentive you can afford to pay more than you need to!

LOL
Meow!
Yeah, I'll carry 4 phones around and make notes in my diary to redeem cashback.
I'm not that tight. I'm quite happy with my deal and the network.
My phone works. Pity yours never have!
LOL
Yep, I have to earn a living to pay phone companies. I dont get paid over generous commissions!
You are merely giving back some of the wads they are paying you and that comes out of the pockets of your customers, most of whom hav'nt the sense to shop around and see the real deals.... lucky you!
I wish I could admit to being able to pay 4X as much as I need to for a basic service!

Can anyone BELIEVE what this guy writes??????
I had to read it three times, just to make sure it was really there.
Dunno what he's been smoking, but it has certainly affected him...
Hmmm. well you admit you dont do 3 deals like on the net.... you dont have to you say. So all that cashback money others have to supply go direct to your bank account courtesy of 3UK! Very nice!
I can understand why you dont need to shop around and think about how much you pay for your mobile per month and can also understand why as a dealer who sells only 3 keeps up this worthless exchange.
Enjoy the sunshine and the hayfest... it wont be permenant!

I gotta post again here...
3GSU - You talk rubbish.
Other networks pay MUCH more than three.
You are not a dealer. You are not privy to commissions and pricing. You talk rubbish.
Please, people. Ignore this guy. He makes out he is the 3G oracle, but I guess a certain "experience" with some telco in the past has made him VERY bitter. Dealers and, in particular 3UK seem to be his target. Don't know why, but there you go.
People have had problems on 3, me too, but they are sorted. I don't expect perfection when I get such great value, especially early days with a new network.
You spout sanctimoniously from high, as if other networks have never made mistakes, failed to deliver, or have never given bad service.
Ask ANYONE on here is they have had a bad experience with the 2G networks. Chances are they will all say "yes".
If a dealer does the work to recruit and look after customers, why shouldn't he/she get paid. YOU get paid for your job, don't ya? I'm not on here saying that YOU don't deserve your wage, am I.
You make me sick, mate!
"Other networks pay MUCH more than three."
Which is why as a charitable chap you only sell their services!
How thoughtful, gracious and loyal of you to make such a business decision!
And the band played.... "Believe it if you like"

Put it this way mate. More people on this forum are more likely to believe ME than you.
At least a) I work in the industry.
b) I EXCLUSIVELY use the product myself.
c) I DON'T slag off the other networks constantly.
How many of the above criteria do you fulfil? Oh look - NONE!

3gsu, I can quite honestly say that as a customer of 3sellernw I have never been treated so well by a phone dealer, and I never know someone to work so hard at fixin a problem that one of his customer has. 3sellernw is quite intitled to his money earned by he work he has done for me, if you have a problem with that take a long walk off a short pier
Well I have no vested interest in any of the networks and have services from 3 and a-n-other presently so I suspect I can provide an opinion that is slighlty less biased as 3 are not my paymaster!
18736
15-11-2004, 11:02 PM
But they are not MY paymaster. I sell them through choice. I could change at any time. Get it?
As for you having no vested interest in any network...
YEAH right.
Read yer own posts mate!
"I sell them through choice." And you ONLY sell ONE Network - so they are in effect your paymaster!
Sorry - but that is true at this time!
Salute Mr Fuller if he ever gets around to visiting!

Loser!
Truth is this thread is nonsense.... it's based on someone's flawed assumption - it should really be closed as it is totally mis-leading, but that was of course the intention!
