You can now record and leave a video message on a 3 mobile answerphone.

The message can be received by any 3 user by dialling 123.

They are sending text messages out to advise.

Cost to upload and receive video answerphone messages is free using inclusive minutes, outwith it's 25p/min.

Nice idea. At last something useful can be made of the video facility on all 3 handsets.

Thumbs up for this idea!

because it's a good idea that uses 3g for what it was meant for, that's why 3GSU is praising it. I agree, more useful and innovative services like this should be the way 3 makes more consumers, not thousands of minutes which affect the network.

Well it's a first from 3 that seems to be a realistic service that could appeal. Nice idea... decent pricing... and consumer friendly. I will certainly try it. This is a great benefit for 3 users.

I have had it for a month already, when I originally posted about this. I use the shaft videomail on my phone. Its very good and gives a laugh when you first use it

I've only just found about it now, read this thread and videocalled 123 (Nosferatu is my greeting)

Should be useful if I ever receive a videocall...

As a 3 user I keep up to date with stuff.... and post positive information as well as negative.... this development is a former and most welcome in terms of 3G development.

Naza, don't think the wall will fall just yet, I think 3 are working on it though (Vodafone are wall-less and Orange are launching in January - Source: Salesperson in store in Newcastle)

3 might finally be turning the corner, and we might see more praise from 3GSU (what will Killahurts do then? :) )
