Hi there,
does anyone know why I can't send a text to those 5 digit numbers usually beginning with an 8??
Is it the network or do I have to activate something with 3? :confused:
Any help appreciated

You can only send to these numbers if 3 have enabled the number in question. There is a checker on their website that allows you to check which numbers do/dont work. Seems a bit silly to me seeing as they get to take a cut out of the message! - You would think they would be trying to claw as much revenue as poss to counterbalance the effect of the cheap price plans.

Ta matstrange, checked it out on the website, the number I'm trying isn't supported yet. Guess I'll just have to wait. Hopefully be added soon.

Most are for ringtones and stuff like that which you can't download anyway. if they were all allowed then you could sign up for services that you couldn't use.
