Phone Freezing!

Can anyone help?

I have a three phone which i have had for about 2 months and all of a sudden yesterday it rebooted itself and just froze on a whte screen. It doesnt switch off, unlessi take the battery out and if i try and switch it on, it goes back to the white screen!

I got it from **********.co.uk, its the lg8120, does that mean i am going to have to go back through ********** to get it sorted or will three stores be courteous enough to assist?

If you look into those books that came with ur phone, it will have one that mention if ever ur phone goes wrong, take it to a 3 store, then they will try to take ur phone away and repair then get back to that 3 store within 3 days. and if u are lucky they may even have a spare one to lone u (but I dont believe a bit of that).

No, 3Stores and 3Points will only send a handset off for repair if it was bought from 3Retail. It is not their job to deal with warranty issues of other retailers.

You can either contact the people you bought it off and ask about a warranty repair, or call 3 customer services and they can arrange for a courier to be sent to your house and the handset will be returned within 3 working days.

hi i have had the same problem with my phone too,had my lg8120 brand new and unlocked five weeks ago it came with 14 day guarantee and one year warranty,i have a 3 pay sim in it which worked ok up until now, i was half way through a text message and my phone froze then turned itself off.i turned it back on even though i didnt press any other buttons it says on one side of my screen ,menu and the other side of my screen says deflect.ive been in touch with the people i bought my mobile off and because my 14 days are up i have to take it somewhere else to be fixed,so i am too stuck with no mobile,my email is shelly81@btopenworld.com it will be interesting to know if we have both been stung by the same guy

They got sorted my A920 when i had exatly the same problem!They put me on the waiting list for a loan phone and i got call 4 days after from 3 store,superdrugs.They did give me an old NEC and toke my phone way for repair.Got it back after 7 or 8 days.It wos purchased form carphonwarehouse on line.My friend got it sortet same way just even faster! It wos 8 months ago by the way!Things may have been change since then.
