This is the THIRD time I've called someone and somebody else has answered their phone... I mean, people telling me I've got the wrong number!!!
And I know I did not misdial, because they are numbers saved in my phone, numbers I use regularly!
WTF??!!
its happened to me before a few times but the other way round; ie people calling me thinking i was someone else. im not just talking the odd wrong number every few months which is almost normal but 2 or 3 a week !

YES !!!! (this happened the other day but I completely forgot to post about it )
I used my E228 to phone my wife on her Vodafone
The person that answered said "Hello , ------- registery office "(?)
I thought I had dialled the wrong number - but when I spoke to my wife she said she had had a call from someone looking for a registry office , but my name had come up on her screen !
So I checked my call log and I had indeed dialled the right number
Sounds like Three are getting their numbers mixed up !

LOL, same thing happened with my husband and I, I called his work mobile and was mortified when a FEMALE answered and asked who the hell *I* was!! I saw red and told her to put my husband on the phone! LOL
My husband said that, at the time, a guy called HIM asking for roger!
Thank god it really was a mistake or i'd be seeing him in the courts! lol

LMAO!
Nasty stuff. All the networks seem to have issues with the basics of connecting calls from time to time, but this sounds quite severe. Have any of you quizzed CS on the issue?

I'd try but the call would probably go through to the local Indian Takeaway & I wouldn't realise !

Yeah, has happened to me a few times too, only in the past couple of weeks though!! Don't know how it happens but i remember it use to happen to me alot when Orange where a new network too :confused:

Indeed! I have had that and had to check the screen to see if the dialled number was accurate. It was (straight from the phone's memory), and it was embarrassing having to apologise twice to some poor chap who got disturbed after coming off his night shift! :mad:
Hopefully, a temporary routing issue that has now been corrected.

I remember ages ago if I used an NTL landline to phone my mate on orange (who has a long answerphone message) I could get it to randomly hop to otherpeoples mail boxes on orange, and even play with their settings, as if I was the owner calling !!
